After smoking the bees, the comb of the beehive is cut. The beekeeper must take care not to injure bees, and then provide an adequate set of resources, honey, brood (capped and uncapped) and pollen, so that the bees can make a new beginning in their new home.   Honey can either be kept by the beekeeper or fed back to the bees.
