This hive was located on a lava field adjacent to a golf course. Although not in an area traveled much, the hotel wanted to remove the hive and be safe, so they called a beekeeper.
It really was an unusual and beautiful hive. The beekeeper would have left it alone if the hotel had not wanted it removed.
